Building permit coordinator

Working together for a nice living environment! After a short coffee break with your colleagues, you'll dive into the environmental plan. Does everything comply with the rules? Does the building fit into the neighborhood? You take a critical look at it. In the meantime, you discuss the upcoming plans, so that you are well prepared for the afternoon meeting with the Alderman and the entrepreneur.
What will you do?
Within the municipalities of Ooststellingwerf, Weststellingwerf and Opsterland (OWO), you are the indispensable link when it comes to permit applications and notifications. You keep an overview, monitor deadlines and assess plans with an eye for detail and a feeling for what is really important, for residents and entrepreneurs.
You switch effortlessly between content and people. Whether you are gathering data, preparing a decision or advising a colleague or director on a VTH issue: you know what you stand for and bring peace of mind and knowledge to the table.
The introduction of the Omgevingswet has not only broadened your work but also deepened it. You look beyond construction itself - you are also involved in construction activities where the environment plays a major role.
With your fresh perspective, you will actively contribute to the development of new working methods, the improvement of processes and the growth of our team of 15 colleagues. You will think along with us, look beyond the beaten path and help us to rethink: how can we make things easier for residents and entrepreneurs? What is possible? You will participate in working groups in which your practical knowledge contributes directly to improving the environmental plan and the way we work as an organization.
You will have the space to grow, influence and really contribute to an organization that does what is needed, for each other and for society.
Here's what we offer you
